Qualifications:


Qualifications are specific to the department you are applying for. There is a long list of departments on their website:

The applicant must also be able to provide an official letter from an accredited college or university confirming that he/she will receive course credit if selected for our internship program. The applicant must also be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for eight weeks.


How to Apply:


Applicants should fax or mail the following:

  • Cover letter stating which term (i.e. Fall, Spring, Summer sememster) he/she would like to participate.
  • Resume
  • Course credit confirmation letter
  • Essay in 250 words or less answering the following questions:
    1. In which department are you interested in doing an internship? Why?
    2. What duties do you expect to perform in your internship? What do you expect to learn?
    3. Why should you be selected in the FOX 5 Atlanta Internship Program?

Qualifications:


Applicant must be in college. The website is very vague on qualifications, and it requested no phone calls, so I sent the station an email asking a variety of questions.

Internships are available in the following departments: Atlanta & Company (local program), Community Relations, News, Promotion, Sports and the Web.


How to Apply:


Send a resume, cover letter and two letters of recommendation to the attention of the HR Manager. The cover letter should express the date you're available to start, the hours and days you can work, and the department you're most interested in.
